The “Internet Hard Disk Planning & Construction ” project is to provide the staff of Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan, with stable, safe, and effective Internet memory space. The objective of this project is to complete the operating procedure and operating protocol for the maintenance, operation, and management of Internet Hard Disk framework planning and design; also, construct the “Internet Hard Disk”software and hardware facility and management mechanism of the Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan. iii The “Internet Disk” of this project is constructed with the following features and functions: A. Access to computer data online inside or outside the Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan as easy as using “Internet USP.” B. “Internet Hard Disk” is classified into three categories: a. The hard disk of the Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan (X disk): Handle inter-department (office) data exchange and sharing, upgrade data circulation and composition efficiency, and provide frequently used software tool for the installation of staff. b. The hard disk of department (Y disk): Handle department (office) data storage and sharing; moreover, install department (office) homepage. c. Personal hard disk (Z disk): Handle personal data backup; also, the substitute staff within the department may access to the backup file by data sharing to avoid any job delay due to the absence of staff. The constructed for the benefit of data summary, accumulation, and sharing; also, allow the staff of the Environmental Protection Administration access to the data inside and outside the office for benefits of: A. Data sharing: If file is too big to be sent by E-mail, it can be shared and exchanged by this project; also, the substitute staff within the department may access to the backup file by date shareing to avoid any job delay due to the absence of staff. B. Data saving: Staff may have the data in personal computer stored or transferred upon the resignation or transfer of personnel in charge. Historical data can be referred for business promotion. C.
